Welcome to the BwhoUR Network! Tell us alittle about yourself (and don't be shy!)
My Life On Time was created by Laura Marusa, a mompreneur, wife and busy mom of two young daughters.
While searching for a planner to stay organized, she was surprised by the lack of fashionable, yet well-designed options on the market. Wanting something that offered both, while keeping most of the product reusable and price tag in check, she designed a product of her own out of creative insight and pure zeal. And, so, My Life On Time was born.
I bet you have some hidden talents... lets hear about them! Should you be on American Idol? Play the piano? Are you a whiz on the computer? In the kitchen? Lets hear about it!
I'm not sure about hidden talents...but I do have hidden passions. Most people don't know that I'm extremely passionate about adoption (mainly international) and brain cancer (my father passed away at 52 from a GBM). I suppose a hidden talent is that I can put together a kick- butt event!
What are some important issues facing our young ladies today? How can BwhoUR help them?
I have two young daughters. I am so worried for them as they grow older and start to face real-life issues. We need to try to make these young girls/ladies the most well-rounded individuals who aren't afraid to think smart and for themselves.
Every now and then, somewhere, some place, sometime, you are going to have to plant your feet, stand firm, and make a point about who you are and what you believe in. - Lee Riley
Do you have a business? blog? website? Let us know!
I guess I knew that you had a little one from your pictures, but thought you were waiting for another. I'm very happy that things worked out the way they did for you. Many families we started the process with have taken the same path as you and are equally happy with how their family has come together. As a result there are fewer families in the pipeline which should mean things will happen more quickly for us.
By the way, when I have a chance I'll be back to your site to learn more about what you are doing. I am all about organization too, with my business background I feel like I have to handle my household the same way I use to handle my career. My current business is about "products" that create organization, not services. How is business?
We actually have a LID in May 2006, we first met with our caseworker in January 2006 and it took several months to get our papers together even though we had the first paper trail well documented. It is never easy getting all that stuff done. We just sent documents off to immigration as our original paperwork expired and we will have a fingerprinting appointment soon. We are expecting a Referral by late fall or early winter and travel the first of next year if things continue to move as they have.
Do you have your referral . . . with LID in March you should be getting it any time. Please let us know . . . we would be happy to follow your journey to China.
I visited your page . . . what a lovely family and such sweet pictures of your girls. I love the one with them sleeping. We're using Bethany CC and have been told that we will possibly received our referral by the end of this year of the first of next. After waiting three years, one more year seems doable and not so long to wait. What province is your daughter from, and what is her current age. Gabrielle is from Guangdong, Yangjiang, and will be 5 in March. For some reason you look familiar, have we met?
